This is an easy walk but strong sensible walking shoes are recommended

Walk starts at 10:30 am From the A40 turn L at the A4180 to Ruislip. At the end of the High Street turn L into Bury St after the fire station approx 2 miles turn R into Reservoir Rd. Car park at the end of the road on the L. After the walk a carvery lunch will be available at about £7.50 for those not wanting to cook lunch

This site is both scenic and rural site with splendid views of the Thames Valley towards the Marlow Gap and the Chilterns. It is about 2 miles from Henley-on-Thames.
Visit London by rail via Marlow, Maidehead or Twyford Stations. Bridle paths & footpaths adjacent to the site.
Take the A4 to Knowl Hill and turn into Warren Row road, at the end of the dual carriageway. Follow the road through Warren Row and as you enter Cockpole Green (village sign) turn immediately right. Follow LTV or BCC signs.

From the M4, take Exit 13 (A34) travel S, bypassing Newbury, for approx 7 miles. Just past Hampshire sign, take the exit SP Highclere and Wash Common. Take care on this exit, the slip road is short and on a sharp bend. Turn L at the rdbt, onto A343 towards Newbury. Approx 300m by the car garage, turn R into Penwood Road, and the LTV direction signs. The site is 400m on L.
