About London and Thames Valley (LTV) Area The British Caravanners Club aims to provide traditional camping on green field sites in some of the most picturesque parts of the countryside. With this in mind the facilities are limited usually to a supply of fresh water and an elsan emptying point. This means that you need to have your own sanitation and a good leisure battery for the evenings lighting and TV. Our Sites' officer aims to provide the best possible green field camping at attractive prices in the Greater London, the Thames Valley and Wilshire areas. We also follow the same approach for our longer holiday meets that we will be holding this year at Abingdon in Oxfordshire. This holiday site is ideally suited for both caravans and motor caravanners and is within a five minute walk of the town centre. Comfort and safety To ensure the comfort and safety of all members on site, you are requested to observe the following club rules:
Route Signing The organisers will make every effort to place either orange LTV or the Yellow BCC signs close to the approach of the site. Unfortunately some local authorities do not allow this so please ensure you have the direction instructions with you when you leave home. All members are also asked to note that it is their own responsibility to check with the organisers prior to attending a meet. Due to circumstances beyond our control, it is possible for a meet to be cancelled shortly before the event, especially during inclement weather. We hope that you will enjoy this year's programme, and that you will support as many meets as possible. Whilst we cannot guarantee you fine hot weather, we can however guarantee you a warm and friendly reception. The Committee of LTV look forward to welcoming you to our rallies.
